Data Deletion

How to delete your HomeHooray account and all associated data.

HomeHooray is operated by Magnesium Consultants, LLC. You can delete your account and all of your family's data at any time, whether you signed up with an email, Google, Facebook, or Apple.

Delete it yourself, in the app

  1. Open HomeHooray and sign in as the household admin.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Choose Delete household and confirm.

This permanently removes your household and everything in it: all family members, chores, rewards and stars, grocery lists, bills, calendar events, any connected-calendar tokens, and the sign-in accounts tied to the household. This cannot be undone.

Or ask us to delete it

Email privacy@homehooray.app from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my data." We will verify the request and permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.
